CAMPI-TMA June 2025 YTD sales hit 230k-unit mark

MANILA: The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) sold 230,912 vehicles in the first six months of 2025.

Last month alone, the two organizations retailed 40,483 vehicles — 1.8-percent higher when stacked up against the 39,775 units handed over to clients in May 2025 and 3.6-percent more when compared to June 2024’s 39,088-unit turnover.
Retail performance per category
Taking the biggest portion of CAMPI-TMA’s first half sales for the year is the commercial vehicle segment with 185,265 units delivered to customers — cornering 80.23 percent share of the overall sales. Such sales performance is 11.3-percent more than the 166,404 vehicles brought to clients in the same timeline the previous year
Meanwhile, passenger car sales continue to decline — selling 45,647 units in January-June 2025 (which is 23.8-percent lesser than the 59,875 vehicles handed over in 2024). Photo from Cesar Guiderone Miguel
“Ongoing market shifts and evolving buyer preferences present opportunities for innovation and recovery in this segment,” CAMPI-TMA noted in a joint statement.
The same record showed that CAMPI and TMA collectively sold 13,490 new energy vehicles (NEV) in the initial half of 2025.
