Suzuki is celebrating 50 years in the Philippines by holding the 2025 Suzuki Matsuri, a showcase of the brand’s legacy in the automotive and marine industry. Happening this weekend, you can see the brand’s current lineup of cars and motorcycles, as well as their latest marine outboard engines.

The trip down memory lane in Suzuki’s history will be a definite hit for fans of the Japanese automaker, but the highlight of the event is Suzuki’s showcase of what’s to come, and that is in the form of the Fronx crossover.
The Fronx is Suzuki’s offering in the subcompact crossover segment, and you guessed it, it’s set to go up against the likes of the Toyota Raize and the Kia Sonet. So if you’ve been eyeing either of these vehicles, Suzuki is about to make your choice even harder.
No specifications have been put out by Suzuki Philippines just yet, but we can look at the specs of the Fronx from other markets to get an idea of what’s coming. Dimensions-wise, the Fronx is 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, and 1,550 mm tall with a 2,520 mm long wheelbase. Ground clearance measures in at a respectable 170 mm.
Powertrain specs are also not revealed yet; however, we’re guessing the Fronx may come with the naturally-aspirated K15B, like in the Jimny or the K15C engine, which comes with Suzuki’s mild-hybrid technology.
As for tech, based on what we saw inside the previewed vehicle, buyers can expect to get leather upholstery, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, and a reverse camera.
Style-wise, the Fronx boasts quite an aggressive style. At the front, the Fronx features sharp DRLs sitting atop the LED headlights, framing the car’s piano black grille. The hood gives the crossover a square-jawed look featuring a lip that slightly covers the DRLs. At the sides, the Fronx has black side mirrors, black wheels, and a black roof, complementing its greyish blue paint. Finally, at the rear, A black spoiler and wrap-around LED taillights complete the look.
