If you’re a resident of Pasay or anywhere near the Travel City and want to get behind the wheel of a car in the future, you might want to check out what the local Land Transportation Office (LTO) is offering. The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Pasay City Licensing Center – Driver’s Education Center has recently announced that slots are now available for the upcoming free 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) this July.
Presently, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) mandates that individuals applying for a driver’s license must complete driver’s education as a prerequisite to obtaining the privilege of driving. Enrolling in a driving school is a big hurdle and an important part of the process of acquiring a license, wherein applicants will be subjected to tests to assess their eligibility to operate vehicles on public roads. For many of us Filipinos, a driver’s license is a gateway to freedom, and for some, a driver’s license is a need for them to start making a living. That’s why offering these courses is important in adequately equipping future drivers with the proper knowledge as well as keeping them away from going the easy route and hiring fixers.

Participants of the free course can anticipate that the course will cover essential topics such as fundamental road signs, regulations, markings, maneuvers, courtesy, right of way, and other crucial driving practices and knowledge. Indispensable knowledge to have when you’re travelling the ever-confusing roads of the Philippines.
